We've been living in two worlds , the one that shocks and hurts , the reality one .. and on the other side .. the dream world , the one we escape our miserable reality , never let the fire , the reality to get you down .. = keep dreaming no matter what. . . . * Musical inspiration - Skillet .
here is a little thing to think on: What if all the stories we hear as we grow up are true, what if they are real? Most like they are in another dimension or on a different planet? But what if our perception of the unreal is wrong and false? What if myths existed? What if our way of perceiving them is through dreams or stories? Just let these float in your head for a bit. What if all of this is true? Everything we know is wrong? Everyone is leading a double life from what we know and we are the few who don’t know anything about these myths being real or even that your aunt could be a fiction character you just read about? How do we know this isn’t the Dream world and the real world has all of this in it? Just-just what if all of this is real? Nothing is true, but everything is permitted.
I love the combination of colors in this picture - the pose really brings it together well. The detail is amazing and I have to admit im envious! I love the idea behind this picture that you wrote about in the description, wise words! The lighting is done very well on her clothing but I do think that it could have crossed over a little more, it almost seems like there is a line down the middle of her body where both of the colors just stop, i think if they had crossed over a little it would have tied the two together better, the dream world and the real world are both tied together after all. But over all I love it! the details are wonderful and I think you did a spectacular job! keep it up!
Hi, this critique is for #FeedbackFrenzy from group 39. This is a magical piece. I love how you've combined feathers with bubbles and jellyfishes. Also the light is done very well, the blue light on the stones and the girls front and the red glow on her back and dress. Very nice! The red and blue itself don't have a gradual gradient, they kind of just stop. That's a shame, try to have a little more flames at the upper right corner to make it more believable. Apart from that, this is a great picture. Keep up the good work!
First of all, you painted this art so nicely. It looks so realistic. It's not messy nor blurry. The hair is so detailed. I like the blues and the reds. The fire is so nice. You are a wonderful artist. The tree is so detailed and realistic. This artwork is so nice and beautiful. The i've seen yet so far. The background is beautiful.
I have no experience with photomanips, so I'll do the best I can! ^-^ You definitely created a dreamy world, and it feels very relaxing. I love how it's more original that just being half and half between worlds, and it really adds in the concept of ignoring reality and shutting it out; the quality of fire being thought of something that consumes everything in it's path yet she's ignoring it also adds to this. Really excellent. Favourited! :3
Hello, I'm doing this critique as a part of the competition.
There are several things, I really like on this work. You combinate two worlds so well, that there is a magical new one, which seems to be out of dreams. A lot of people try to combinate water and fire and mostly it's only a intermediate finish than. But you do it in a very georgeous way. I like the jellyfishes and bubbles, which are swimming in the water. Also this water setting with the light rays, which reminds me on a underwater ruin, is great done! In contrast the fire and sparkles, which surrounds her dress looks very realistic. And it's very evidentiary how fire and water seems to melt in her. Mainly in her hair and dress, it's well done. Also the composition of giving the water the bigger part and let it only be surrounded by the fire is a great concept. Improvement I see not many things, which you can make better. Perhaps the feathers..Feathers and water do not fit so well together. Because everytime you see feathers, you think on air and sky.
Overall Impression It's a very unique piece with a great concept and a lot of nice highlights like the light on the stones, the soft light rays in the water and this amazing fire, which seems to burn the stone.
Hello, hello! I am doing another critique of your work for contest. I remember seeing this piece before, if you look down I put a little comment below and add it to my favourites pieces. And now like before I am in awe with this. You did not create a fantasy photmanipulation you created a fantasy. Lets start with the model.Your choice of model is perfect for the idea you wanted to express here. has probably the most expressive stocks. The pose for this is perfect with the her back at the reality liek she would deny it and with her arms stretched towards dreams. I love the way you ilustrated those two worlds: fire as in aguish, pain for reality and blue, magical blue with a touch of softness. All of this piece it makes me think about Yin and Yang from chinese philosophy since at some point balance must exist. Not to mention that is is told that fire and ice are a manifestation of yin and yang. Overall it is an amazing piece that definnetly has the gift to keep you starring at the screen and admire your work. The only thing I would've wanted to see more here is teh fire.Fire has its own beauty and some more flames starting to brun the dress would've been perfect in my imagination. I hope inspiraton helps you make more and more of this kind of pieces.
critique for FF: the first thing to came to mind were many different opposites. pain and happiness, hot and cold, warmth and sadness, and so on. The impact of this piece is quite amazing!! I especially LOVE how the blue side the dream world looks like. it looks as if it is underwater yet at the same time, not. I think what you could have worked on is maybe had made the picture canvas size bigger so that you can add more the fire, the reality side. there isnt much things to work in this piece other then that suggestion in my opinion. EXTREMELY well done, keep up the great work!!
