May be problem with my monitor, but the image has a blueish tint; blacks are not black. What could be the cause?!

Monitors are tricky. Some time ago I had a CRT at work, while the same flat panel at home. What was decent picture at home (where I worked on them) was much too dark at work, where I also worked on images, though different (and the monitor was even calibrated!).
Yes, this image looks like some colour layer added to it. Maybe all you need is just lessen the visibility of it? But if you do not see it yourself (which sounds strange, though) it will be difficult to do anything.
Anyway, wish you luck (sounds you need it...)
